Ear Up Music is a music label dedicated to showcasing the new music of Hong Kong to neighboring regions and beyond. Established by Renaissance Foundation Hong Kong in 2016, this label oversees a range of projects, from talent development to showcase events, which connect with global music networks. Music plays a pivotal role in denim events, and it has consistently enhanced the creative atmosphere of the Hong Kong Denim Festival, as seen in previous editions. In the upcoming 3rd HKDF, we aim to foster strong synergy with Create HK-funded projects and provide a broader platform for nurturing and exposing creative talents. To accomplish this, we have a collaboration with Ear Up Music. As part of this collaboration, we will invite Ear Up Music’s alumni and incubatees to perform in selected HKDF activities, thereby enriching the festival experience.
